Nurse Practice Act
&
Regulations
Maryland laws and regulations can be found in
your local court library and often in your local public library or on the
internet. The Board of Nursing does not fax or mail individual copies of
the Code of Maryland Regulations
(COMAR).
Nurses licensed in Maryland can receive a
copy of the Nurse Practice Act by contacting Anika Alford, Administrative
Assistant, by e-mail, by
fax, or in writing. Nurses need to include name, Maryland license number,
and mailing address. All others can receive a copy of the Practice Act by
writing your request to Ms. Alford and enclosing a check or money order of
$10.00 made
out to "Maryland Board of Nursing"
