Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) Registration Deadline

All Prescribing Certified Nurse Midwives and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners with CDS Permits Must Register with the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) by July 1.
Starting July 1, 2017, individuals applying for a new or renewal individual CDS prescribing permit must be PDMP-registered at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. While the goal is to ensure all practitioners who are authorized to prescribe CDS in Maryland are registered, the most immediate priority are those who have an individual Maryland CDS prescribing permit issued by the Office of Controlled Substances Administration (OCSA).
