The nursing curriculum prepares graduates to assume beginning staff positions for patient care in general hospitals and similar health facilities within the scope of the defined functions of the practical nurse. Nursing students must maintain the scholastic standards of the college and must achieve a grade of "C" or better in each nursing course and each required biology course.
