SALISBURY UNIVERSITY
The undergraduate program prepares nurse generalists who care for individuals of all ages, families, and communities at all levels of wellness in a variety of health care settings. Specific curricula are available for traditional undergraduates and for those who have already earned a bachelor’s degree in another field, as well as for registered nurses. The first two years of study focus on General Education and support courses. Nursing courses include a clinical component that provides experiences in all areas of nursing practice in a variety of settings. Through an internship experience in the final year, students bridge the gap between the role of student and registered nurse as they integrate knowledge, values, and skills in caring for groups of clients. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Salisbury University also offers Masters Degree programs in nursing.
