Nurse PENDING Agreements
The Joint Committee
on Nurse Practitioners reviewed the following agreements and the
following addendums were received. If you are listed, please follow
the flow chart following this list for the process of your written
agreement/addendum.
Public Meeting Notice
The Nurse
Practitioner Work Group has scheduled public
meetings to revise forms and regulations as a result of 2010
legislative changes and the passing of SB 484/HB 319.

The NP Written Collaborative
Agreement Document has changed. Please review the on-line instructions
before completing & submitting new agreements. All agreements submitted
after 2/4/2010 MUST be on the new forms.
Nurse Practitioner Programs Approved by the Board
The Maryland Board of Nursing must
review and approve all Nurse Practitioner Programs before certifying
applicants as Advanced Practice Nurses (COMAR 10.27.7.03A.(4))
If your Nurse Practitioner program is
not listed below, print and submit the "Information for Nurse
Practitioner Program Approval" form to your school. DO NOT complete
this form yourself

These regulations and all other COMAR regulations

Any new written agreement must be submitted in the new format. Agreements
not on this form will be returned. Always include proof of training
for procedures with each written agreement submitted.
When adding physician(s) to a previously
approved written agreement, complete sections I-A, I-B, I-C and section IV.
Include a cover letter of explanation.
Forward a copy of your CDS and DEA license to the board.
