arrow bullet Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) is hosting Forensic Nurse Examiner Adolescent/Adult course. This course is approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing. The course is for RN's with at least 18 months experience and a MD license to be come certified to provide SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Examination) services for victims of sexual assault The courss is being offered from 10/26/2009 through 10/30/2009 at a cost of $400.00. Effective April 1, 2007, The Board discontinued the printing of ALL license & certification cards.  Please use Look Up a Licensee to verify licensure / certification status.

arrow bullet Falsified Verifications - It has come to the Board's attention that falsified verifications of licensure status have begun to circulate among employers. The Board asks that all employers take time to verify a licensee or certificate holder through the Board's website using Look Up a Licensee. This on-line database is updated daily and contains the most recent licensure information.
